Karla has been in the pet industry for nearly 50 years, which is weird since she's only 25. She has been a groomer, breeder, purchaser and store owner. In 2014 she decided it was time to start considering retirement so she teamed up with Trish and Joe to reopen the store in a new location with more space, better parking and different ideas. The store wouldn't be here without her selfless contributions and tireless effort. When it comes to pets, you won't find a better source of knowledge.

Trish and Joe used to own South Coast Reptiles in San Diego. They relocated to the IE in 2004 when Joe's job moved to Riverside. Shortly after arriving in Hemet, they found Karla's Kritters. Joe began working for Karla on weekends and the rest is history. Trish handles the money why Joe takes care of the day to day operations under Karla's guidance.

Josh has worked for the shop for several years. He has degrees in music and biology and is a wealth of knowledge solving husbandry problems, identifying illnesses and breeding many reptiles. He also teaches guitar lessons and plays in a local band.

Shanna is our lead groomer. She has over 25 years experience and used to own her own grooming business. The quality of her work is second to none and her prices are very reasonable. We do not over book her. She will have the time to make your pet look its best. She's also one of very few groomers who is an expert at grooming cats.

Pam is our most recent addition in the grooming room. She's been grooming for decades and does a wonderful job. She works on Friday and Saturday allowing us to take additional clients without rushing on our busiest days.

We have several volunteers including Dalynn, Karla's daughter, "Tattoo" Mike (owner Jynx Tattoo) and Mesac, a high school student who can't get enough of the pet world. We're so grateful for their help and to be honest, we couldn't do this without their help.
